International cooperation in sustainable materials management

Tokyo Circular Economy Promotion Center（T-CEC）

T-CEC was established within the Tokyo Environmental Public Service Corporation to support the transition to a circular economy through information sharing, consultation, business matching, international cooperation and so on.

Commissioned by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Tokyo Environmental Public Service Corporation is responsible for international affairs in the field of resource circulation.

To address challenges common to major cities, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government conducts online seminars for administrative officials and other practitioners from overseas cities in the field of sustainable resource management related areas. It also participates as a speaker in external training programs.

To promote the 3Rs and improve waste management in urban areas, we are engaging in bilateral exchanges with overseas cities in the field of sustainable resource management through online seminars and in-person interactions.
